From the Deputy Editor’s Desk
Dear Colleagues,
It is with great enthusiasm and honor that I welcome you to our newly established journal “Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology” as Deputy Editor-in-Chief. In the rapidly evolving landscape of pediatric medicine, this journal, founded by Matej Sapina, represents a crucial missing piece of the puzzle in our young and dynamic field of pediatric interventional pulmonology.
Our specialty has grown tremendously over the past years, bringing innovative techniques and approaches to treating children with complex respiratory conditions. However, until now, we’ve lacked a dedicated platform to share our experiences, research, and innovations. This journal aims to fill this gap, providing a home for the growing body of knowledge in our field.
“Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology represents a crucial missing piece of the puzzle in our young and dynamic field”
“Pediatric Interventional Pulmonology” represents a milestone in our specialty’s development. It offers a dedicated forum for practitioners, researchers, and innovators to showcase their work, share their insights, and contribute to building the evidence base that will shape the future of our practice. By creating this platform, we’re not just collecting data – we’re building a community and fostering collaboration across borders and institutions.
“… until now, we’ve lacked a dedicated platform to share our experiences, research, and innovations…”
I warmly invite all colleagues to be part of this exciting journey. Whether you’re conducting clinical research, developing new techniques, or have interesting cases to share, your contributions will help shape the future of pediatric interventional pulmonology. Together, we can build a strong foundation of evidence-based practice and innovation that will benefit our young patients.
Let’s embrace this opportunity to grow our field together. I look forward to your valuable contributions and to witnessing the impact this journal will have on our specialty.
Best regards,
Dirk Schramm
